My Story
Born in Managua, Nicaragua, Bemilda Linda Baltodano, who goes by her artistic name Bems, discovered her passion for art while living in San Diego, California. She pursued her artistic education with zeal, earning a paid scholarship to study commercial advertising art, which has significantly influenced her successful marketing career.
During this period, she was honored with the United States Achievement Academy Award in Art and the Bank of America Achievement Award. Bems holds a degree in the arts and an associate degree in social and behavioral sciences. Today, Bems seamlessly blends her love for fine art with her expertise in marketing. She has created logos and advertising concepts for prominent companies such as No Fear, 8 Ball Snowboard, Church’s Chicken, Shorebreak, and many more throughout her career.
Bems' passion for painting is fueled by her deep admiration and respect for the ocean. Specializing in impressionism, her ocean-inspired art bursts with vibrant colors and dynamic movement. Through her work, Bems aims to raise awareness about ocean conservation and protect marine life, inspiring others to safeguard our shared waters and explore their own creative potential.
